Manage Emotions Avoid Negativity Girls Inc. (M.E.A.N. Girls Empowerment) is thrilled to announce the 4th annual Girls Health Matters Summit, scheduled for April 5, 2025, at the UChicago Charter School – Woodlawn Campus. This year’s theme, “Unstoppable & Unapologetic,” aims to inspire and empower 200 minority girls aged 10–18 from the Woodlawn community and beyond.

The Girls Health Matters Summit is designed to confront these challenges head-on. Attendees will participate in interactive workshops, access vital health resources, and connect with mentors who can guide them toward healthier, more empowered futures. The event will feature sessions on mental health, nutrition, physical fitness, and self-esteem building, all tailored to the unique needs of minority girls in underserved communities.
